The project involved conducting a pre-feasibility study for the development of an integrated waste management system across twelve municipalities in the Gjilani and Ferizaj regions. It aimed to identify priority waste investment projects that are both integrated and climate-resilient, with a focus on waste prevention, separate collection, treatment, and recycling. The study provided strategic recommendations to enhance waste management efficiency and sustainability. The project was carried out in collaboration with international consulting firms and supported by relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
