Support to the development of an Inter-Municipal Integrated Waste Management Plan (IIWMP) for the Dukagjini Region, covering the municipalities of Peja, Istog, Klina, Decan, and Junik. Establishment of a coordinated, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable waste management system through inter-municipal cooperation, addressing waste collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal in line with EU standards. The project includes a baseline assessment, waste generation forecasting, infrastructure planning, and financial analysis, ensuring a structured action plan with clear responsibilities. It promotes waste reduction, circular economy principles, and social inclusion, integrating vulnerable groups into the system for long-term sustainability.
