Support for the Introduction of EPR Systems for Packaging Waste and Tires

The project aims to support the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure (MESPI) in developing and operationalizing an effective EPR system aligned with EU directives and the national Waste Management Strategy 2021–2030. The intervention focuses on designing the legal, institutional, and financial framework for the EPR schemes for packaging and tires, enabling a sustainable system where producers take responsibility for the end-of-life management of their products.
